What we did
Delayed due to the Covid crisis, but finally unveiled, the new snow leopard aviary at Dublin Zoo was built using handwoven stainless steel net in black oxide finish from HMJ Zoo Design.
The mesh uses a 2,4 mm thick wire, and 50×50 mm eye size in the walls, and 76×76 mm in the roof.
HMJ Zoo Design provided know-how and technical support throughout the planning and installation process; The latter was handled by local Dublin companies.
